PUMALO na sa 83 ang nasawi habang 505 ang sugatan dulot ng Abu Sayyaf Group bombings mula 2009, ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Sa datos mula AFP, may kabuuang 47 insidente kungsaan gumamit ang ASG ng improvised explosive devices (IED) sa Sulu, Basilan, at Zamboanga.
Naitala ang 20 patay at 70 sugatan mula sa AFP, habang 63 sibilyan ang napatay at 435 ang sugatan.
“The Armed Forces of the Philippines sees a greater urgency to toughen the country’s drive against terrorism due to the rising terror threats by the Abu Sayyaf Group and other local terrorists,” paliwanag ni AFP Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Gilbert Gapay.
“Recent acts of violent extremism have already claimed innocent lives of both civilians and military personnel.”(PTF team)
