Ayon kay Paolo Cortez, President ng Gerona Chess Club sa Gerona, Tarlac kung saan si 13-time National Open champion Gandmaster Rogelio “Joey” Antonio Jr. ang top-seeded player sa bullet (1 plus 1) event na may touch challenge kina National Masters Bob Jones Liwagon at Elwin Retanal, United States chess master Jojo Aquino, veteran campaigner Sherwin Tiu, Joseph Rivera,Jeffrey Pascual at John Ranel Morazo.

“The chess club aims to promote and support chess in this time of Pandemic.,” sabi ni Paolo Cortez, President ng Gerona Chess Club sa Gerona, Tarlac.

Ipapatupad ay 17-round Swiss System format kung saan ang magkakampeon ay tatangap ng P700, second place P400, third place P200, fourth place P100 at fifth place P100 at ang sixth hanggang 10th placers ay tig P50.

Mga laro ay mapapanood sa famous Mobile Chess Club Philippines sa gabay ni Mark Angelo Godino.
