Dimayuga, Tan nakamit ang U-15 titles sa Nat’l Age Group Triathlon

DINOMINA nina Diego Jose Dimayuga at Lauren Lee Tan ang Under-15 (Youth) category sa National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) sa Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Freeport Boardwalk sa Zambales Sabado.

Dimayuga, kinatawan ng Get Coach’D Academy, may oras na 30 minutes at 55 seconds para mangibabaw sa 500m swim-10 km bike-2km run race laban sa teammate Pio Mishael Latonio (31:34) at David Mora ng TNST/Sante Barley TriTeam (31:39) sa boys’ division.

Tan,12, ng Ormoc Aquatic Edge ang nangibabaw sa girl’s division sa 34:07. Christy Ann Perez ng TLTG Go for Gold PH (34:27) at Alaina Bouffaut ng Get Coach’D Academy (35:04) ang second at third, place ayon sa pagkaaksunod.

“It was tough because all of the competitors trained hard,” Wika ni Tan, a grade 7 student sa St. Paul’s School ng Ormoc Foundation Inc. “This is my first time to join a triathlon tournament.”

Samantala, Pele Matteo Latonio (Get Coach’D Academy) at Elise Salas (Olongapo Junior Trackers) ang naghari sa Super Kids 11-12 category (400m swim-8km bike-2km run).

Nagwagi si Latonio (32:02) laban kay Chris Donovan Lacuna ng Olongapo Junior Trackers Multisport (32:19) at Oliver Kurt Alingarog ng DLSZ Tri Team (32:34) sa boys’ division.
