NAGPASYA ang high-flying cager Francis Lopez na talikuran ang kanyang natitirang 3 taon sa University of the Philippines sa UAAP para maglaro sa Japan.

Ang 6-foot-6 forward ay nakatakdang maglaro na import para sa Japan B. League club Fighting Eagles Nagoya, pinakahuling Filipino player na dalhin ang kanyang talento sa overseas.

Lumustay siya ng dalawang taon sa Fighting Maroons, pinamunuan ang pangkat sa Season 87 title kaagapay si Harold Alarcon, JD Cagulangan, at Quentin Millora-Brown nang patalsikin ang De La Salle University sa three-game finals showdown.
