Senatorial millennial candidate Camille Villar thanked the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines for warmly welcoming her as their guest of honor during their annual gathering in Pasay City.

In her message, Camille Villar extolled the Masonic virtues of fortitude, prudence, temperance, and justice —values she said are fundamental to building a strong and just society.

She also shared a personal connection to the fraternity, recalling that her grandfather, Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar, was a Mason and a strong advocate of public service. In honor of his legacy, the Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Lodge No. 332 in Las Piñas City was named after him.

Villar noted that her grandfather’s example and the values he lived by inspire her commitment to lead and serve. She said she hopes to mirror the same steadfastness and compassion in her own service to the nation.

During the occasion, Villar lauded the organization’s close fraternal ties, their integrity, and their selflessness in the conduct of charity and philanthropic works in the country.
