Alaiza Talisik ay may double na umabante sa two runs. Jeelyn Pajotal at Roma Jane Cruz dinugtungan ang lead sa 7-0, at Talisik umiskor ng hit ni Madaelene Domaug para maging 8-0
Nakamit ng UP (6-2) ang kanilang finals spot matapos talunin ang University of Santo Tomas (UST), 6-1.
“This is our preparation for the championship and I’m not satisfied yet. There are still many things we need to improve if we really want to win. So when it comes to training, we need to focus on the small concerns and make the necessary adjustments,”Wika ni UP coach Ron Pagkaliwagan.
UST at La Salle, na parehong may 3-5 rekords,ay maglalaban para sa Bronze medal.
