ANG kapwa sexy star na si Stella Suarez Jr. ang isa sa mga matalik na kaibigan ng yumaong aktres na si Jaclyn Jose noong nagsisimula pa lamang ang kanilang acting career.

Ang real name ni Stella Suarez ay Pinky Suarez at first cousin siya ng aktor din na si Richard Gomez.

Kasama pala nilang nangupahan ang make-up artist na si Bernadette Dueñas, sa bahay ng isang photographer-writer whose name is Lito Divina Garcia.

Located ito along Aurora Boulevard at Gilmore Avenue, Quezon City.

Tanaw mula sa rented room nina Jaclyn at Pinky ang tahanan ni Maria Kalaw-Katigbak, the MTRCB chair from 1981 to 1985.

During that time, sexy stars ang imahe nina Jaclyn at Pinky at naghihigpit ang MTRCB sa mga sexy movie na siyang bailiwick nina Jaclyn at Stella.

“Nang magpakamatay si Pepsi Paloma noong 1985, pinuntahan at sinundo kami ni Tita Chato (Charito Solis) sa inuupahan naming bahay para puntahan namin si Pepsi sa morgue,” pagbabalik-tanaw ni Bernadette.

Malapit sa rented room nina Jaclyn at Pinky ang King Kong, ang disco house sa kanto ng Doña M. Hemady Street at Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City.

“Malapit lang sa kuwarto na inuupahan namin ang King Kong. Magkasama kami ni Pinky na pumupunta sa disco, nilalakad lang namin, kahit buntis na siya noon (sa anak nila ni Al Tantay).

“Si Jaclyn, hindi sumasama sa amin. Mas gusto lang niya sa bahay. Nagluluto siya ng picadillo,” remembers Bernadette.

Kahit matagal nang hindi aktibo sa pag-aartista si Pinky, open pa rin ang communication line ni Jaclyn dahil sa chat group na kanilang binuo.

In her social media post this Monday, March 4, Pinky shared the news about Jaclyn’s demise.

“Happy memories with you Jane will remain forever in our hearts. May the perpetual light shine upon your soul. You may rest in peace.”

Nagsimula ang acting career ni Jaclyn  nang i-launch siya bilang isa sa limang babaeng bida sa pelikulang Chikas ng Baby Pascual Films & Associates..

Kasama niya roon sina Lovely Rivero, Tanya Gomez, Rachel Avila (Rachel Ann Wolfe), at Karla Kalua.

The movie Chikas, that was shown sometime in 1984, was Jaclyn’s first movie, not Private Show (1984).

Mary Jane Guck ang tunay na pangalan ni Jaclyn and it was the producer of Baby Pascual who gave her the name “Jacklyn Jose.”

Later on, inalis ang letrang K sa Jaclyn para mas maging feminine ang tunog ng kanyang screen name, ayon sa kanyang dating manager na si Ed Instrella.

In a recent interview, Jaclyn’s original manager Ed said that he handled Jaclyn’s career for more than two decades.

Bibihira talaga ang kabaitan ng isang Vilma Santos. She knows how to give importance to a friend who was able to travel all the way from the States to the

Philippines.

Hindi talaga nagkamali si Monet sa paghanga kay Ate Vi. Like I said, the woman knows how to appreciate the effort of a friend who has travelled from the United States to the Philippines just to see her.
