Ito ang binigyang-diin ni Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio sa mga lider ng sektor ng seguridad sa ipinatawag na Command Conference nitong Lunes bilang Officer-in-Charge ng bansa.
Dumalo sa pulong ang mga lider ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Si Duterte-Carpio ang inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. bilang OIC ng bansa habang nasa tatlong araw na state visit (Sept. 4 – 7) ang Punong Ehekutibo sa Indonesia tapos Singapore.
“Our policy against criminals and terrorists and those that support and espouse their ideologies of violence should be hardlined. We should show no mercy to criminals and terrorists.”
