Sakristan ‘killer’ din sa Maguad siblings slay

MASUSI paring iniimbestigahan ang pagpatay sa magkapatid na Crizzle Gwynn at Crizville Louis Maguad sa M’lang, North Cotabato.

Batay sa isang Facebook post ni Lovella Maguad, ina ng mga biktima, inilahad niyang isang sakristan na nagsisilbi sa simbahan ang isa pa umanong sangkot sa pagpatay sa kanyang mga menor-de-edad na anak.

Nauna nang tinukoy bilang salarin si “Janice”, na sa kasalukuyan nasa kustodiya ng DSWD Mlang. Ayon kay Lovella, pinangangalagaan ng DSWD ang salarin.

“One suspect has been in and out from the DSWD, received psycho social interventions and taken care of by them in more or less 8 years while the other is a sacristan who has been serving the church,” saad sa post ni Lovella.

Ipinananalangin ni Lovella ang mga sumusuporta sa Republic Act 9344 o Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006 na mabuksan ang kanilang mga mata sa realidad.

“I pray that the proponent of the Juvenile Justice Law and its supporters, the law itself, rights advocates, politicians who always backing up complaints on disciplinary measures given to children wrongdoings in school and in the community to open their eyes to realities,” sabi ni Lovella.

Sa ilalim ng Juvenile Justice Act, hindi maaaring panagutin sa batas ang mga nakagawa ng krimen kapag sila ay 15-anyos pababa.

Iginiit ni Lovella na hindi patas ang DSWD sa pakikitungo sa mga salarin at mga biktima na kapwa menor-de-edad.

“The scenario we are experiencing right now shows the unfairness of the DSWD in dealing with the suspects and victims who are both minors,” aniya.

“I saw how they handle with care and protection the suspects leaving my innocent kids alone (inside their coffins) who didn’t savor the privilege of their rights,” patuloy pa ni Lovella.

“Victims are always victims unless there would be the bravest hearts and impartial sound mind to fight for justice,” aniya pa.

Naganap ang krimen Disyembre 10, 2021 sa loob ng bahay ng mga Maguad.
