Sofia Frank nagtala ng panibagong rekord sa Finlandia Trophy

NAGTAPOS na 18th place ang batang Filipina figure skaters na si Sofia Frank na kabilang sa 26 na kalahok sa Finland Trophy sa Espoo, Finland.

Ang 16-year-old Frank, ay umiskor ng 53.30 sa short program at 94.79 sa free skate, sa kabuoang 148.09.

“Sofia Frank, 16 years of age, raises the bar once again,” Wika ng Philippine Skating Union. “She is now the official holder of the country’s best scores for short program, free skate, and total scores.”

Winalis ng Russian figure skaters ang podium, nasungkit ni Kamila Valieva ang gold medal matapos makaipon ng 249.24, sumunod si Elizaveta Tuktamysheva (233.30) at Alena Kostomaia (218.83).

Samantala, Filipino figure skaters Michael Christian Martinez at Christopher Caluza nagtapos 24th at 25th sa men’s competition, sa iskor na 156.78 at 156.24, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
