ISANG ina na may apat na anak, may adbokasiya sa  women empowerment at isang pilantropo, si Rina Navarro ay isa ring movie producer. Siya ang producer ng 2014 film na Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo na pinagbidahan ni Robin Padilla.

Dati rin siyang AVP ng Viva Communications at sa kasalukuyan naman ay abala si Rina bilang founder at CEO ng kanyang business venture, ang Unfiltered Skin Essentials.

Ano ba ang Unfiltered Skin Essentials?

“Unfiltered Skin Essentials, we are in the industry of skin care and wellness. “We launched late last year, around December. I started it with my friends, puro girls kami, and it is by direct-selling and most of the products that we are developing and that we developed are kumbaga, we developed them from scratch.

“And then I told Bea, ‘Bea anong gagawin natin?’

“And then there’s a certain, you know like, on my end, since I’m a businesswoman, there’s actually an amount that I have that I was intending to use for marketing.

“And siyempre di ba pag marketing namimigay ka rin naman, nag-i-introduce ka ng products, so I told Bea, ‘Bea okay lang ba sa ‘yo since wala pa tayong puwedeng maging projects, walang makakaintindi ng gagawin natin na timely and relevant, tulong muna tayo sa mga frontliners.’

“And she immediately said yes, and when we posted it, in a few months, wala pang two months we were able to raise about thirteen million pesos in cash and in kind.

“And we never stop until now. That’s how I Am Hope started.”
