“FB NEWS VS MAKABAYAN BLOC, BASE SA KARANASAN NG MGA TAO” – NICA CHIEF MONTEAGUDO

HABANG nasa loob ng Kamara de Representantes nitong Setyembre 29, ginipit sa badyet at inakusahan ng MAKABAYAN Bloc si National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Director General Alex Paul Monteagudo na walang katotohanan ang mga nakasaad sa face book account nito hinggil sa kaugnayan ng nasabing pangkat sa communist terrorist group (CTG).

Narito ang pahayag ni DG Monteagudo.

Hindi totoong tagapaglaganap ng “fake news” o “false information” ang pinuno ng NICA.

Idiniin ito ni Monteagudo upang pasinungalingan at mariing pabulaanan ang maling akusasyon ng MAKABAYAN Bloc, sa pangunguna ni Bayan Muna party – list Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate laban sa nilalaman ng kanyang FB account laban sa kanila.

Bukod sa Bayan Muna, ang iba pang miyembro ng MAKABAYAN Bloc ay ang Kabataan, Gabriela, Anakpawis at ACT – Teachers party – list groups.

Binanggit ni Monteagudo sa kanyang press statement na kahit kailan, hindi niya ginawa ang magpakalat ng huwad na impormasyon.

Ang pahayag na ito ng NICA chief ay bunsod ng kaganapan nitong Setyembre 29 sa deliberasyon ng Kamara de Representantes tungkol sa badyet ng NICA para sa 2021, kung saan siya ay pinaratangan ng MAKABAYAN Bloc, sa pangunguna ni Zarate na siya ay “purveyor of false information.”

“I, therefore, categorically deny the said accusations!,” paninindigan ni Monteagudo.

Ipinaliwanag ni Monteagudo na “The reason why I share posts in my FB personal account is no different from all FB account holders. It is because I find the post inspiring or entertaining or informative. Thus, I shared posts in my FB because I see them as artistic expressions of our people similar to the sentiments of former rebels, Indigenous Peoples (IPs) victims and parents who have finally gained the courage to stand up and reveal the members of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) who are now in Congress, the MAKABAYAN Bloc led by Congressman Zarate, who, according to the posts, are masquerading as defenders of “human rights”, when they are actually part of a terrorist organization that has killed thousands of Filipinos, destroyed many families and robbed the Filipino people of the peaceful and prosperous lives we all dream of.”

“I am sharing the posts of the officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the National Task Force to End the Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) because I believe that it is the duty of every Filipino to defend our Constitution, our democracy, and our people against groups such the CPP/NPA/NDF that seek to violently overthrow our duly constituted government.”

“More importantly, I am sharing their posts which calls for the protection of family and our children from exploitation and abuse of this Communist Terrorist Group by revealing their network in Congress, which is the MAKABAYAN Bloc, that has grieved the hearts of many parents who lost their children because they were recruited as NPAs and later left to die in a place away from the comfort of their homes and the love of their family.” banat ni Monteagudo.

Aniya, ang mga dahilan kung bakit ibinabahagi niya bilang NICA chief ang mga nabanggit na pahayag ng mamamayan dahil ang MAKABAYAN Bloc ay miyembro ng CPP – NPA na ideneklarang “terrorist group” ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas at lima pang bansa, kabilang ang Unites States (US) at European Union (EU).

Dahil dito ay hindi nakapagtatakang tutulan at harangin ng pangkat ni Zarate ang badyet ng National Task Force to End the Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO), National Security Council (NSC) at ng NICA, birada ni Monteagudo.

Iginiit ni Monteagudo na “We will not be intimidated by Congressman Zarate and the rest of the MAKABAYAN Bloc members from exposing their true color as proxies of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG).”

Idiniin niya na 51 taon nang niloloko ng CPP/NPA/NDF ang mamamayan, partikular sa kabataan.

“But, who will reveal the truth if we are cowed and intimidated by these Congressmen? Sino ang magsasalita? Kung hindi tayo, sino? At kung hindi ngayon, kailan?” banat ni Monteagudo.

Nanawagan din ang hepe ng NICA sa mamamayan na “magtulungan po tayo upang protektahan ang ating pamilya at mga anak laban sa panlilinlang at pang aabuso ng mga CPP/NPA/NDF Communist Terrorists.”

Dagdag pa ni Monteagudo sa kanyang press statement, “My sworn duty is to protect and defend the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines and the Filipino people from forces that seek to destroy our freedom and democratic way of life.”
