NORTHPORT FRONTLINERS HANDA NANG SUMABAK SA PBA ACTIONS SA GREENLIGHT NG IATF

HANDANG-handa ang NorthPort Batang Pier frontliners na sumabak muli sa basketball actions upang ituloy ang kanilang misyong mabungang kampanya sa Philippine Basketball Associatìon (PBA) Philippine Cup 2020.
Optimistiko si General Manager Erick Arejola na ang outbreak of pandemic coronavirus na pansamantalang nagpatigil sa takbo ng buhay ng mga tao sa mundo sa aspeto ng social activities, transportation, ekonomiya para sa kabuhayan, turismo kabilang na ang sports sector ay manu-neutralized na ng siyensiya tungo sa new normal ng sangkatauhan.
Binigyang-diin ni Arejola na sa sandaling mayroon nang go signal mula Inter-Agency Task Force for Pandemic at endorso mula Games and Amusement Board at ng PBA, ang Batang Pier ay babalik na sa gym upang ituloy na ang mga ensayo at ihanda ang tropa sa umaalingawngaw na pagbabalik sa arena ng pinakapipitagang professional cage institution sa buong kapuluan – ang Philippine Basketball Association.
“Of course all of us miss the deafening cheers of the PBA fans that heightened the adrenaline of each players to put themselves to the limit of performance and that’s the beauty of pro-basketball,” sambit ni GM Arejola – dating DLSU Green Archer2001 champion team member sa timon ni coach Franz Pumaren.” We will only adjust to the new normal way of sports life and observe health protocol”.
Ang NorthPort Batang Pier na umani ng respektableng kampanya sa PBA Philippine , Governor’s at Commissioner’s Cup noong 2018-2019 Season ay binabandera-han ng mga frontliners na sina Christian Standhardinger, Moala Taotuaa, Stanley Pringle,Paolo Taha, Kevin Ferrer, Garvo Lanete, Ryan Arana Robert Bolick, Jervy Cruz,Nico Elorde, Russell Escoto, Lervyn Flores, Jonathan Gray, Baldwin Guinto, Prince Ibeh, Jeremy King, LA Revilla at Solomon Mercado sa kumpas ni head coach Pido Jarencio at deputies na sina Renzy Bajar at Jeff Napa.
“Hopefully sa October me action na. Tuluy-tuloy naman ang individual conditioning ng mga Batang Pier natin during community quarantine kaya ready po tayo!”, dagdag pa ng General Manager – ama ng young cage sensation na si Champ ‘the Marksman’ Arejola ng De La Salle Zobel junior varsity team.
Ang top brass ng North Port Batang Pier ay binubuo nina General Manager Arejola, Assistant GM Emilio Tiu at team managers Bonnie Tan at Waijip Chong.(Danny Simon)
